January-quilt classes

It still or once again covered with snow, natural light is scarce. The new year has for our quilt group started with colorful courses. Saturdays at 2, we have learned two completely different techniques. The first course dealt with kaleidoscope quilts.

Our course Forwards Erin Andrea was room . You can explain everything really clearly and has so many practical tips and advises that I would always do another course with her. I have learned much in the two courses.

I kept at home kaleidoscope blocks sewn. The next quilt was made of a fabric landscape cut . I had to complete with colored triangles, otherwise he would have been too dark and too small. It is only used set, I roll a design wall like a blanket Bisquitrolle and then down row after row of cloth on the sewing. Thus, the patches remain in the correct sewing order. At the end of the final longitudinal rows are sewn together. Practical and space saving.

The second course focused on free designs. Andrea has taught us a simple but stunning methods, such as results from a design in a miniature quilt.

My personal problem was that I really wanted to bring this plot to a beautiful accident staining as a whole piece in the quilt. I see deer heads ... has reduced it's me all the time. When my daughter reviewed the finished top, she said I could separate out the fabric and still make the whole smaller. What can I possibly do. A few weeks ago, the competition was at level 1 in diving. During the semester, the diving is part of the weekend program and even now after the holidays we go on Saturday after Bouillante and from there take a small boat to "Îlet Pigeon", where the dive begins.

In Ste Anne on the beach is the Peace-Man at home. He wears a T-Shirt One Love and a cap. The Peace-Man is a happy man, he is running on the beach all day and down and stops at each, to wish good luck. There's also another Man who sold biscuits Creole, also sings all the time. He can sing really well and sings everything he does. That he sold biscuits that he is working as we lazily on the beach and when he buys a pack, he sings the price.

... and for this reason alone it is so nice to go to the beach in Ste Anne:).

am After two months I moved out of the Villa Villekulla and had left all the cockroaches and Scolos. You can even semester abroad once every 2 Months to move;)
I now live in the Residence next door, in room of a friend who has flown home a week ago.. It even has windows and a balcony facing the sea. I stay here now for the last two months.

was on New Year's Eve at a friend's barbecue in the garden. Here, the Italians, Finns, and we Germans, the Swedes are, unfortunately, two weeks ago were gone. The new year we have before the restaurant, where JR is purely celebrated. The fact had to work and for us all hats, noisemakers, streamers and balloons purchased.

We were happy like little children and the restaurant provides guests happy, as we have moved on after the fireworks to the beach. (Yes, there were fireworks and it was beautiful ... for the Caribbean;)).

The celebration continued on the bridge and was terminated when then half with sea urchin spines in my foot could not walk properly. But there are definitely a good start to the new year.
